Biography

Nadine joined Emory's Internal Audit Division in September 2008.  In this role, she is responsible for evaluating and monitoring business risks and internal controls, planning audits and completing investigations for the Emory Healthcare System.

Prior to joining Emory, Nadine was a Corporate Compliance and Government Regulatory Specialist for Saint Joseph Health System, where she participated in the development of the annual Corporate Compliance Audit Plan, developed and provided monthly Compliance and Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) education, and assisted in the development of the annual risk assessments.

Nadine has held other regulatory compliance and auditing positions in the home health, insurance and worker's compensation industries. Over the years, she has maintained responsibility for all aspects of compliance audits, training, corporate licensing, regulatory filings, and Medicare and Medicaid certifications throughout the United States.

Nadine received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from St. John's University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Healthcare Management, from the University of Phoenix. Nadine is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA) , Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Nadine is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP™).
